We extend a special welcome to the children of the Good Hope Christian Preschool and their families!  In celebration of Lutheran Schools Week (March 7-13), and as a “thank you” to the congregation of Good Hope Church, the preschool children will share two songs at the 10:30 service this morning.  Thanks to the preschool director and teacher, Charla Spayde; teacher, Kerri Dunford; and helpers, Connie Shull and Aimee Wood!  Be sure to check out the preschool art display on the tables in the narthex!

“The Good Hope Christian Preschool staff, parents and preschoolers would like to thank all of the Good Hope members for their support and prayers.  We appreciate all that you do!  Our Registration Open house is today from 1:00-2:30 p.m.  At that time, registration will be open to the public.  Registration forms are available in the narthex and preschool classrooms.”

The following fifth graders will receive a Bible today from their parents in preparation for first communion instruction:  Ainslee Bruns, Maegan Chandler, Jacob Chavatzas, Gavin Lewis, Samantha Mutchler, Bailey Plumley, Kylie Redman, Jack Reed, Grace Schiefer, and Ricky Smith.  First communion instruction will begin next Sunday, March 14.   Fifth graders will participate in their first Holy Communion on Maundy Thursday, April 1 at the 7:00 p.m. worship in commemoration of our Lord’s Last Supper and the beginning of this Holy Sacrament.

Today’s altar flowers are given to the glory of God by Jim and Ruth Ann Crabaugh in honor of their March birthdays and wedding anniversary.
