chaperone. Registration for the 2012-2013
Good Hope Christian Preschool will begin on
Tuesday, February 21 through Saturday, March 3 for current preschool
families and Good Hope members. Registration forms will be available
in the church office beginning Friday, February 17. Parents and their
child may visit the preschool during the Registration Open House on Sunday,
March 4, from 1:00-2:30 p.m. Good Hope’s MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) will meet next
Sunday, February 12, at 1:00 p.m. in the lounge. Moms of children
younger than 5 are most welcome to join in! The February CCSD (Christ-Centered, Service Driven) youth
service project is to collect items for the Bucyrus City Schools Weekend
Backpack Program. If you would like to help the youth with this,
please bring any of the items listed here to the church office during the
month of February. Here are a few of the items needed (more items are
listed on the Youth and Family Bulletin Board by the drinking fountain):
granola bars, canned beef, chicken, or tuna, macaroni and cheese (box or
individual cups), Ramen noodles, peanut butter and crackers, cheese and
crackers, fruit cups, cans of ravioli, spaghetti, beef-a-roni, etc.,
oatmeal, pop tarts, juice boxes, soups, and pudding cups. Please no
glass jars! Please note the Opportunities to
Serve sheet in today’s bulletin! We are
wiping the slate clean on the Opportunities to Serve forms and will begin a
new listing of volunteers! If you have not turned in your
2011-2012 form this year, please fill one out today and place it in the
offering plate (or bring or mail it to the church office). Each
year’s sheet will contain only volunteers’ names for that year. No names
will carry over to the next year. Thank you! WOW is growing! As we meet more needs
on Wednesday nights, our ministries will be coordinated by a new WOW
committee led by Dee Myers. If you have a heart for reaching out
to others and would like to help plan and co-ordinate future ministry
efforts on Wednesdays, please give your name to the church office. Introducing the Global Mission Team
